Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is very confident that previous colleague Cristiano Ronaldo could play for one more decade given the careful consideration he pays to the physical side of his career.
The previous Red Devils Centre back, who set out to Madrid to talk with Ronaldo at his home prior this month for Nike, trusts the Real Madrid symbol still has a lot of years left in him at the largest amount of the amusement – regardless of the reality he turns 33 in February.
Ferdinand arranged for six trophy-loaded seasons with Ronaldo at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson – and knows superior to most how the four-time FIFA Ballon d’Or champ still stays near the pinnacle of his forces.
“When you address him you figure he can play for an additional ten years, the way he discusses his future,” the 38-year-old told Sport360 at the dispatch of the 30-day Dubai Fitness Challenge.
“He’s so certain about himself since he doesn’t leave anything to risk, particularly wellness. In his readiness work, he deals with everything superior to I’ve at any point found in football.
“To be so world class, remain there and be comparable to he has for so long, you must be not kidding with your way of life and wellness. He’s done that.”
While Ferdinand played with and against a lot of world-class ability in a stellar vocation which nearly spread over two decades, he rates Ronaldo above any other person and says the Whites No.7 is well in the level headed discussion over who is the best player ever.
He stated: “Cristiano will go down when he resigns as a standout amongst other three players to have played the diversion, he’s right up there. Obviously he has normal ability yet his hard working attitude matches numerous men.”
