Cristiano Ronaldo Donates Ballon D’or Award To “Make-A-Wish” Charity

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo recently auctioned off his prized Ballon d’Or trophy to raise £600,000 for “Make-A-Wish” Charity

The Real Madrid star gave a replica of his 2013 award to a London closeout at the Dorchester Hotel a weekend ago.

The assets will go towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a philanthropy that stipends wishes for kids with perilous diseases and the individuals who are critically ill.
The occasion raised £2.7m for the Foundation – about multiplying the first gathering pledges focus of £1.5m.
Ronaldo is a long term supporter of Make-A-Wish, giving assets and giving wishes to genuinely sick kids over the world, and particularly requested the copy of his 2013 award to be given to sell raising assets for the UK philanthropy.
